Summer has officially arrived in Hong Kong and with it Le French May and all the hottest social gatherings have started filling up our calendars. For those of you who aren’t quite ready to venture out into the heat over the weekends, why not roam around some of the art exhibitions that will be popping up this May?
We’ve rounded up some of the hottest art happenings around town, including controversial street art by Invader, romantic oil paintings and nostalgic photographs of the ‘hidden’ side of Hong Kong.
It’s not everyday that one heads over to a Yoga studio to see art, but this May Yoga Bam Bam are creating a whole new art experience by presenting a Hatha Yoga-inspired art exhibition featuring works by self taught artist and illustrator Bao Ho. Visit the studio and expect to walk into an enchanted world starring larger than life naked goddesses covering the main door and all the way through to the studio.
The exhibition Yoga + Art = YogArt by Bao Ho will run for 2-3 months starting in May 2015.
