dinh van & Yoga Bambam

New free spirits to discover…. Tell us a little bit about yourself

When school resumes, it’s time to make new resolutions ! On this occasion, dinh van met women that made wellness and health their jobs. New free spirits to discover….

Tell us a little bit about yourself…

I’m the owner of Yoga BamBam, the Yoga studio with the artistic twist in Hong Kong. Originally from England & Jamaica  I’ve spent  the majority of my life exploring the world.  Searching for something so illusive that it took me over 20 years to realise that what I’d been questing for was actually within me. My now introspective journey has been made easier thanks to the healing properties of Yoga and being a mother of 2 precious daughters.

What has motivated and inspired you to build your own yoga studio?

I live a very privileged, yet simple lifestyle. This was the right time for me to move from teaching Yoga to opening Yoga studios. Owning a Yoga Studio  is a more amazingly vehicle to transmit energy & amplify joy. Yoga BamBam has only been open a few months yet  I can already see how it’s creating a more peaceful and loving community. I choose to construct the studio at ground level without doors or windows. I like opening new doors and breaking down boundaries this is what Yoga BamBam is all out.

As a yoga teacher, what advice can you give to today’s working women to keep going?

Breathe more, relax more, cherish yourself more, become vegetarian.

I lived in the chic left bank district of Paris for 12 years before my family moved to Hong Kong.
dinh van typifys what the French do best, they have fine tuned  l’art de vivre ,the art of living elegantly yet boldly. Being understated whilst reveling in luxury.
